Your information
Privacy
A plain-language summary of how this static website and its external links handle information.

Who is responsible for this website?
Martin Van Zyl Registered Osteopath is the site owner and data controller. For privacy questions, email wheelwalker.humour@gmail.com. The formal controller and business details require final owner and legal verification before launch.
What this website collects
At launch, this static site does not run its own contact form, user accounts, database, marketing analytics, advertising pixels or session recording. It does not ask you to submit health information directly to this website.
Hosting and technical logs
The website is intended to be hosted on Azure Static Web Apps. Microsoft and related delivery infrastructure may process technical request and security logs, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and timestamps, to deliver and protect the service. Retention and configuration will be confirmed against the final production setup.
Booking through Equus Organiser
The booking page embeds the Equus Organiser Facilities service. Loading or interacting with it connects your browser to Equus Organiser and its dependencies. Any details you enter are supplied to that service under its own privacy terms; this site does not copy appointment names, availability, prices or your booking data into a separate database.
You can use the visible direct-booking link instead of the embedded frame. The external scripts and any cookies or browser storage used by Equus will be tested and documented before production launch; this notice does not claim that the service is cookie-free.
Telephone and email
Telephone and email links open services on your device. Once used, information travels through your chosen telephone provider, email provider and Martin's corresponding services. Please avoid sending sensitive medical or veterinary information by ordinary email unless you are comfortable doing so.
Cookies and local storage
The first-party site does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies at launch. A consent tool will only be introduced if testing and legal review find that non-essential storage requires prior consent.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights over personal data that an organisation holds about you, including access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection. Contact Martin using the details above in the first instance. You may also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office for independent guidance.
Changes to this notice
This notice will be updated when the final hosting, Equus behaviour and verified controller details are confirmed, or if the site's data handling changes.
